Beginning

Past

The old 1930 Ford Pickup was running on fumes due to its long and extensive travel across state nearing closer to its destination, the roads along the Wildwood were rough and bumpy; the truck for a second time nearly got stuck in the thick mud, almost trapping the traveling company within Bogtown and it unfriendly surroundings. Finally out of harm’s way with the sound of a passing train in the distance, the vehicle came to a stop in front of a old house on a secluded road found on the South side, hopping off the truck this marked Atlehi first steps in Indiville in the year of 1941.

Current

The old house became Canyon Oasis Boarding School a establishment which was run by a lady who’s house was located to the far east of the building, it was a place for Native American children who fled from the state law who wanted to place them in Boarding Schools, aiming to tear them away from their families and strip away their culture to assimilate into western civilization. Masking as a regular boarding school instead of only learning western ideals the children continued to learn about their culture well into their adolescence years, and could safely return to their families if they decide to. Becoming a young adult and graduating from the school instead of leaving Atlehi remained in Indiville and worked at the school, in her current life span she helped many people and was around to see the act of taking away Native American children from their homes demolished. Having no use for Canyon Oasis the  owner sold it as it went into different hands and became many different businesses over the years, now a hotel Atlehi still works there and manages the front desk.
